The new bride, 31, shared photos from the intimate gathering via Instagram Story on Friday. In one special pic, the Pretty Little Liars alum, 30, sat next to the musician, 31, at a 10-person dinner party at Selanne Steak Tavern in Laguna Beach, California. The actress wore a knee-length black dress for the big day and kept her wavy locks down.
Her newlywed sibling, meanwhile, donned a long, lacy white dress with a flower headpiece. “We tied the knot!” Shaylene captioned another snapshot with her financial advisor husband Adam Swerdlow.
Ashley and G-Eazy (real name Gerald Gillum) first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted at the Los Angeles store Lassens Natural Food & Vitamins on May 10. They’ve since been photographed kissing in her car, spending Memorial Day weekend together and holding hands during a hike in L.A. on June 13.
“They are hanging out and seeing each other,” an insider previously told Us Weekly.
“It’s more important now than ever to spread love, not hate,” she wrote at the time. “To everyone hating on @ashleybenson please stop. You don’t know the truth, only her and I do and that’s exactly how it should be.” (Ashley also dated Justin Bieber’s good friend Ryan Good for three years until they split in 2014.)
G-Eazy, for his part, was previously linked to Lana Del Rey and split from Halsey for the second time in 2018.

Alexandra Burke has opened up about the racism she has experienced in her 11 years in the music industry, including being asked to bleach her skin “to look whiter” to being told she’d “have to work 10 times harder than a white artist” to become successful.
The singer and former X Factor winner posted a 15-minute video on Instagram, in which she breaks down in tears describing the “heartbreaking” episodes of bullying and micro-aggressions she has faced.
“When I first won the X Factor aged 19 I was told, right, because you’re black, you are going to have to work 10 times harder than a white artist because of the colour of your skin,” she says.
“You can’t have braids, you can’t have an afro, you can’t have anything that basically is my identity. You have to have hair, for example, that appeals to white people so people can understand you better.”
She continued: “I got told to bleach my skin, and that was something I refused to do… Still to this moment it breaks my heart that I was told that.
“I’ve experienced microaggressions many times. I’ve been told you have to smile more on your Instagram posts because you come across as aggressive. If you don’t smile, you’re not relatable.
“You can’t have baby hairs showing on any hairstyle that you do, because you will come across as aggressive – a label I was with at the time told me that and it made me want to leave them.
“You can’t release this kind of music, because white people don’t understand that.”
‘Diva’ label
The star, who took on the lead role in West End musical The Bodyguard, as well as receiving several BRIT Award nominations for singles such as ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘All Night Long’, was raised in Islington in London by her single parent mother, Soul II Soul star Melissa Bell.
One of the toughest experiences she ever had to face, she continued, was after her mother’s death in August 2017 – just before she was due to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
She recalled: “I remember watching the sun rise at the hospital with my aunty, and she was like, you’ve got to do this for your mum.
“I turned up to that red carpet… and I couldn’t speak to anyone… I said I’d do it, but I can’t do press, because if I’d have opened my mouth at that point I would have broken down… And I couldn’t say anything because we hadn’t told anyone yet. Also it didn’t really feel real.
“And this journalist just came up to me and said, ‘So you’re not doing press. Being a diva today are we?’”
From that moment on, she describes being painted as a “complete and utter bitch” by the media. In one incident, Burke claims she was in hospital recovering from a dancing injury when one journalist wrote that she had thrown a wild backstage tantrum that involved her throwing chairs.
“That was the image they had of me, because of the papers.” she said. “I was so scared on that show. So many trolls, telling me all kinds of stuff.
“I have no idea how I got through it. I don’t even like thinking about that experience. It’s simply because of me being a black, strong woman.
“I can speak up for myself because that’s how I’ve been taught. But I would never do it in a way that offends people or hurts anyone.”
‘People are people’
Burke ended the video with a word from her late mother.
“My mum always raised me to never see colour,” she said. “I will continue that way because that’s what makes me happy.
“People are people. We are all human, we all have feelings. So be kind.”
Burke was inspired to speak out by the growing Black Lives Matter movement – and a similar video posted by fellow former contestant Misha B.
Misha B, who competed on the X Factor in 2011, recently detailed her experiences “being devalued” during her time in the industry. She claimed the show projected “this angry black girl narrative”, even describing her as “feisty” and “bully” after one memorable performance.
She said the ordeal left her feeling suicidal at the time.

Instagram has added an amazing feature of a rainbow circle on Instagram story. Instagram users are aware of three colour borders that one can see on a story posted. If the circle around the profile picture is orange and pink, then the user has added a new post and it is an unseen post. If the circle is green, then the person’s story can be watched by only those who are in close friends list. If the circle is grey, then the user is up-to-date with all the posts made by their friend.
The rainbow Instagram story feature has been added by the makers of the app so that a user is able to indicate that they have posted something related to Pride month and its related topics. America’s Got Talent host Terry Crews marked Juneteenth with posts on Instagram and Twitter. The actor shared an image featuring a quote from civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.
Terry’s choice of quote is a clear reference to recent comments he has made about “black supremacy.” He’s faced some backlash for his use of the phrase, but has said he doesn’t regret it.
June 19, also known as Juneteenth, is a day celebrating the end of slavery in the United States. To commemorate the day, Terry Crews shared an image of Martin Luther King, Jr., along with a quote King delivered in 1960.
“BLACK SUPREMACY IS AS DANGEROUS AS WHITE SUPREMACY,” KING SAID, IN A SECTION OF THE QUOTE EMPHASIZED BY TERRY, “AND GOD IS NOT INTERESTED MERELY IN THE FREEDOM OF BLACK MEN AND BROWN MEN AND YELLOW MEN, GOD IS INTERESTED IN THE FREEDOM OF THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE AND THE CREATION OF A SOCIETY WHERE ALL MEN WILL LIVE TOGETHER AS BROTHERS, AND ALL MEN WILL RESPECT THE DIGNITY AND THE WORTH OF ALL HUMAN PERSONALITY.”
Terry’s caption for the posts on Instagram and Twitter simply read, “HAPPY JUNETEENTH #Freedomday.” However, those familiar with the actor’s recent comments will understand his reason for choosing this particular quote.
Earlier this month, in the midst of Black Lives Matter protests sparked by the death of George Floyd and other black Americans at the hands of police, Terry tweeted his perspective on the current issues.
“Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy,” he wrote. “Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.”
Terry Doubles Down On His ‘Black Supremacy’ Comments
In an interview with The Talk, Terry Crews explained, “In black America, we have gatekeepers. We have people who have decided … who is going to be black and who’s not. And I simply — because I have a mixed-race wife [Rebecca King] — have been discounted from the conversation, a lot of times, by very, very militant movements, black power movements.”
Terry said he doesn’t regret using the term, saying he wants to create a “dialogue,” and adding, “Maybe there’s another term that might be better — we’re separatist or elitist…but the thing is, I’ve experienced supremacy even growing up.”
His choice of quote for Juneteenth suggests that Terry still stands by his comments. The recent post has received mixed reactions. Some praised it, while others took issue with it. One user suggested that it was poor timing, and sounded too much like “All Lives Matter.”
Another user tweeted, “I’m interested in knowing what you think MLK meant when he said this.” Meanwhile, an Instagram user commented that it was “highly dismissive of the entire movement.” Terry has not followed up on the Twitter or Instagram posts as of this writing.
