We still don’t quite know how to pronounce X Æ A-12’s name, but he certainly looks comfortable at home with his doting parents Grimes and Elon Musk.

As confusion continues to swirl surrounding the pronunciation of Elon Musk and Grimes’ unusual baby name, the doting parents have shared an adorable video of their son sleeping soundly at home.

Canadian musician Grimes gave birth to their son X Æ A-12 on May 4, baffling fans with the couple’s choice of name.

But the criticism seemed worlds away as the tiny boy snoozed on his dad’s chest and his mum looked on in footage posted today.

The singer captioned the video shared to her Instagram Story with a love heart as X Æ A-12 curled into a tight little ball and his dad patted his back lovingly.

In the days since the baby’s birth, the internet has been obsessed with trying to figure out how his name is pronounced.

And the duo has offered up even more confusion as their pronunciations of the name appear to be different.

In an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience, Musk, 48, discussed the name, seemingly claiming it was pronounced “X Ash Archangel Twelve”.

“First of all, my partner’s the one that actually mostly came up with the name,” he explained. “It’s just ‘X,’ the letter ‘X,’ and the ‘Æ’ is pronounced ‘ash’ and then ‘A-12’ is my contribution. Archangel 12, the precursor to the SR-71, coolest plane ever.”

In an Instagram post from Thursday, May 6, however, the 32-year-old musician offered a different take.

A fan commented on her photo – a pair of pictures from her photoshoot with Italian Vogue – asking, “how do you pronounce the baby’s name?”

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, replied to the comment.

“It’s just X, like the letter X,” she wrote. “Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I.”

Different still was Grimes’ previously-offered explanation of the meaning of X Æ A-12’s name.

“X, the unknown variable,” the singer wrote, adding an emoji of two crossing swords. “Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence).

“A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favourite aircraft). No weapons, no defences, just speed. Great in battle, but nonviolent,” she continued, adding a white heart emoji. “(A=Archangel, my favourite song) (metal rat).”

Musk later commented, correcting the aeroplane his girlfriend referenced.

“SR-71, but yes,” he wrote.

Biel also shared her own Mother’s Day post, telling her fans that being a mom to son Silas is “the greatest job in the whole world!”

“These two people make being a momma the greatest job in the whole world!” the Valentine’s Day actress wrote of Timberlake and their son. “The moments spent with you both are truly the most precious and funniest and glorious times of my life. I love you both so much! ?”

The trio has been isolating together in Montana amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Last month, Timberlake opened up about their new normal in an interview with SiriusXM’s Hits 1.

“We’re doing good. We’re mostly commiserating over the fact that we … just, 24-hour parenting is just not human,” Timberlake joked, adding that Silas sometimes gives him an annoyed look that makes his dad say, “Cool. I got you.”

“Just a commercial break,” he added, referring to how his child sometimes needs a breather from his mom and dad just as much as they may need one when it comes to daily parenting duties.

Timberlake described the couple’s place in Montana as a rather reclusive area.

“We’re in a place where they’re pretty socially distant here anyway, where our place is, and so just being able to walk out into your driveway and maybe go for a little hike is always nice,” he said, adding that the family “feels very lucky and blessed” to be able to get away there.

While in Montana, Biel and Timberlake celebrated their son’s fifth birthday in early April. At the time, the actress revealed the family spent the day eating cake and building with legos.

“We’re at home, covered in legos and birthday cake right now … but I just found this pic on my phone from last summer and it made me so happy,” The Sinner star shared on Instagram.

Jason Derulo would rather look at the positive effects of being trolled.

It’s no secret that people find Jason Derulo to be incredibly corny. There are certain factors at play when it comes to determining whether someone or something is corny but ultimately, people base it more off of feeling than an actual rubric. Derulo’s brand of pop music, mixed with his persona on social media, have all led people to believe he is one of the more cringe-worthy characters in popular culture. His TikTok certainly doesn’t help his case as he can be seen dancing while biting his lip and wearing bedazzled cut-off bunny hoodies.

Recently, a Twitter troll clowned on one of his most recent TikTok videos and the tweet eventually went sem-viral. Well, Derulo caught wind of it all as he took to his own Twitter account and thanked the troll for increasing his following on TikTok.

“I Appreciate you! I Got 500k followers added to my 18 million in one day thanks to you,” Derulo said. “Hopefully you can use that same energy to grow your own followers someday.”

Derulo’s sarcastic response certainly contains some pain behind it if you really peel back the layers but for the purposes of Twitter, it was quite satisfactory. It won’t change the public perception that surrounds him but he definitely got his point across.

It has been around 10 days since April was left behind, and Sensor Tower has released a list of the most downloaded apps in the past month, based on estimates. Communication applications marked the lists.

Some changes were also observed in downloaded applications due to the coronavirus epidemic and people’s closure to homes around the world. Sensor Tower shared the 10 most downloaded applications of April based on forecasts.

There were some changes in the applications that people downloaded and used on their smartphones during the quarantine process. As you can imagine, video chat applications were among the most downloaded apps last month.

In April 2020, ZOOM was the most downloaded application in both Google Play and App Store. The application, which received 131 million downloads, has grown 60 times compared to April 2019. 18.2% of the downloads came from India and 14.3% from the USA.

The second most downloaded application in non-game applications was TikTok. TikTok was downloaded 107 million times in April 2020 and experienced a 2.5-fold growth in a year. The country where the application was most downloaded was India with 22%, while the USA followed ZOOM with 9.4%.

From the third row, the most downloaded applications in the App Store are listed as follows; Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Netflix, Instagram, YouTube, Tax Report, Facebook and Google Classroom. The most downloaded applications from the third place in the Google Play Store are listed as follows; Facebook, WhatsApp, Aarogya Setu, Messenger, Instagram, Samsung Security Update, Telegram and Likee.

When we look at the most downloaded applications in the past month, we can say that online communication applications have a dominance. After ZOOM and TikTok in total, the most downloaded applications were Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. In addition, Microsoft Teams was able to enter this list for the first time.

The data was collected by Store Intelligence on the App Store and Google Play between April 1, 2020 and April 30, 2020. Previous downloads have been excluded. Data from third-party stores was not included in Android estimates. But different versions of the same app like Facebook and Facebook Lite were combined.

A 91-year-old woman is YouTube famous for modeling her favorite quarantine outfits in backyard fashion shows.

Betty McDonald lives in Georgia, where businesses like gyms and bowling alleys have begun opening up, before shelter-in-place orders ended on April 30. McDonald’s advanced age makes her vulnerable to the virus, however staying home has dampened her spirits.

Caretaker and neighbor Kim Taylor noticed. “Ms. Betty is used to social interaction — going to church, the senior citizen’s center, and Cracker Barrel with friends,” she tells Yahoo Life. “Not being able to dress up, she has been bored, so I suggested doing a fashion show outside.”

“That was music to my ears,” McDonald tells Yahoo Life. After a few twirls in her Albany yard wearing her fanciest garb, Taylor decided to introduce her to YouTube.

In two videos posted to Taylor’s YouTube channel, McDonald shows off a variety of Goodwill outfits from her three closets: A black-and-white jacket with a patterned skirt, a blue hat with jeweled hearts and a red blouse with a white blazer, plus chunky and glittery jewelry.

The fashion shows are a tribute to her husband John Henry McDonald who died in 2007 after serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. The couple of 58 years met at a USO dance at Tyndall Air Force in Panama City, Florida. As McDonald explains an April 22 video, “We danced, we dated, and four months later, we married.”

McDonald loved dressing up for outings to the bowling alley, movie theater and dance club. “He was my best friend and he was my personal chef,” she adds in the video. “This is for you, dear John. God bless.”

To preserve McDonald’s energy, she and Taylor film each outfit on separate days, then Kim edits and posts them on YouTube. Reading the positive comments have invigorated McDonald, who looks forward to dictating each reply as Taylor types on her laptop.

The fashion shows have distracted McDonald from worrying about the coronavirus pandemic, says Taylor. “She is a wonderful lady and when she does her fashion shows, the cares of the world fade away.”

Taylor is teaching McDonald how to send text messages on her flip phone, however, she doesn’t have an internet connection. “She asks me, ‘What’s on YouTube? today’” says Taylor.

“Now, Ms. Betty calls me her producer,” she says. “I joke that when she’s famous, we’ll need [professional] camera equipment.” Adds McDonald, “I feel like a natural star.”

One of McDonald’s childhood dreams is to ride in a convertible car, so a test drive might be in their future, although Taylor will take the wheel. “I will sit in the back and wave,” says McDonald.

If you’ve been on Instagram today, you might see people taking advantage of a new glitch that lets them post really long Instagram photos. Here’s how the glitch worked and why you’re seeing photos that scroll endlessly on your Instagram feed. Unfortunately, it appears that the glitch was fixed and you’re not going to be able to create your own long photo at this time.

The glitch allowed people to post really long photos to Instagram — photos that appear to scroll forever. Unfortunately, the glitch appears to have now been fixed. Heavy tried creating the glitch and got an error message that read: “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” Others get a server error message or a message telling them that they need a better connection.

The glitch was only spotted on iOS and Android seemed to continue to work just fine, The Verge reported. To get the glitch and post your own long photo, you simply had to create your own very long image, open Instagram, and pick the photo through the app. The app was temporarily not cropping the photos and allowing people to post long pictures. However, if your photo was too long, then it wouldn’t work or it would show up black. Others appeared pixelated.

Some people were able to access the glitch by putting any image into a resizing program like simpleimageresizer.com, making it 30×600 or smaller, and then posting it, one Redditor shared. They could also create the glitch by changing the size of a photo in Photoshop to be 30×600 pixels. Others said it’s easier to just search for super long photos and use one that you find. Others used the “Do You Love the Colour of the Sky” photo and uploaded that long photo.

Unfortunately, none of the methods used to access the glitch appear to work anymore. The glitch has seemingly been fixed and people are getting server errors when they try to post long images and join in on the fun. Others are just seeing a black photo when they try to upload a long photo and access the glitch.

Some people are pretty annoyed that Instagram fixed the glitch so quickly. One person wrote on Reddit: “So you’re telling me Insta is willing to patch this harmless glitch that’s funny and fun to mess with, but WON’T patch mine AND my friend’s DM’s breaking just because we leave a groupchat, and they won’t delete a post with obvious porn or gore, and they won’t give every account new features at the same time, but THIS gets patched almost immediately? Why are the serious issues not being fixed but the small things that are fun to mess with are?”

We know for some of you the “Threaded Reply Format” isn’t a piece of breaking news. Twitter has been working on testing the feature for quite a few months now and from the initial response, it seems like users are loving the ease it has brought them – in case of reading more of opinions expressed by others on the platform through tweets.

However, the new part is that the company has decided to made subtle changes in the threaded tweet replies layout for more of iOS and web users. Hence, now the same feature will also include a line linking of all the replies a tweet has received.

Carrying on with the announcements that Twitter made back in February, they tweeted about the further additions in the following ways.

For more clarification on the newer version, we are going to look at the app researcher Jane Manchun Wong’s tweet that already had screenshots of the newer version. While the glimpses shared by her are from last month, one can see that when you tap on a reply tweet, a new thread of responses opens up that is attached to that particular comment.

The new tweak also shows replies to the best comments further.

One thing to note here is that these tweets don’t have Like, Retweet or reply icons and according to Twitter the reason behind this move is to hide the engagement tools so that users can easily focus more on the replies.

Looking at the tweaks alone, for sure they don’t appear as very significant ones but there are some definite chances that it would have been very difficult for engineers to pull them off and the impact of it would be seen in later days when people would love to engage into conversations upon reading the associated comments.

As usual, the update will first go through the experimental phase in the Twttr App where a group of selected users will beta test it. Usually, not a lot of features in the testing phase make it to the real Twitter but still, it is encouraging to see Twitter making the effort to push forward the threaded replies.

Besides that to fulfill the major innovation craving of users, Twitter has been working on “Fleets” – the platform’s own Stories format for quite some time now. Although we don’t have many insights to share about that as of now, but looking at all the changes, we can most definitely say the executives of the company are on a swing to make Twitter best from being great soon!
