Having personally experienced an eating disorder at an early age, Jameela Jamil now uses her platform to educate others about the media’s impact on body image. Because so many celebs promote weight loss products and edit their pictures on Instagram to make them appear thinner, Jamil recommends fans to avoid stars who make them question their self esteem. On June 23, Kardashian had fans talking when she posted a throwback video of herself wearing a super tight corset that looked similar to the one she wore to the 2019 Met Gala. Fans remarked how the corset looked “painful” and questioned if Kardashian “could breathe” in it. Because Jamil is a well-known body positive activist, fans messaged her wondering what her thoughts were about the clip.

“I’ve received over 1000 DMs asking me to address this. The reason I didn’t jump on it immediately isn’t because I don’t think the post was damaging and disappointing. I do. It’s because the fact that you’re all messaging me about it, shows my work is done,” Jamil wrote on IG.

The star has called out Kardashian several times for sharing posts that could potentially influence fans’ view of their own bodies, but Jamil made it clear she isn’t trying to “cancel” Kardashian. She just wants fans to be aware of the images they see on social media every day.

“If YOU know that it’s problematic, reductive and irresponsible for her to perpetuate such a heavily impossible beauty standard to her impressionable fans… then you’re empowered and conscious and don’t need me,” Jamil continued. “I’m not sure she realizes that she’s doing to others what her idols did to her, in making her think a tiny waist is the key to femininity and sex appeal.”

Jamil ended her post by asking fans to unfollow Kardashian if they need to.

“The smart thing to do is to protect YOURSELF. YOU have the power. YOU control every Market. YOU choose what and who is trendy. Unfollow the people who tell you things that hurt your self esteem. Don’t let the debris of their damage spill out onto you. Unfollow people/brands that don’t make you feel powerful and happy and grateful for what you have,” she said.

Lifestyle and parenting blogger Myka Stauffer has broken her silence following the controversial placement of her adopted son Huxley in a new home.

The YouTuber, who shares four biological children with husband James Stauffer, posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram on Wednesday, apologizing for the scandal. The Stauffers decided to give up Huxley, the four-year-old boy they adopted from China, after he was diagnosed with autism.

“This decision has caused so many people heartbreak, and I’m sorry for letting down so many women that looked up to me as a mother,” the 32-year-old wrote. “I’m sorry for the confusion, and pain I have caused, and I am sorry for not being able to tell more of my story from the beginning.

“I could have never anticipated the incidents which occurred on a private level to ever have happened, and I was trying my best to navigate the hardest thing I have ever been through,” she continued, adding that she was “naive” about the process of adoption.

“I can’t say I wish this never happened because I’m still so glad Huxley is here and getting all of the help he needs,” Myka continued. “I also know that even though he is happier in his new home and doing better that he still experienced trauma and I’m sorry, no adoptee deserves any more trauma.

“I wanted to help so bad I was willing to bring home any child that needed me,” Stauffer said. “For this, I was naive, foolish and arrogant.”

She also addressed accusations that she adopted Huxley to make more money through her YouTube channel.

“While we did receive a small portion of money from videos featuring Huxley and his journey, every penny and much more went back into his care,” she said. “Getting Huxley the care and services he needed was very expensive, and we made sure he got every service and resource we could possibly find.”

She confirmed that her family is not under any investigation by the authorities.

“We love Huxley and know that this was the right decision for him and his future,” she concluded. “Praying that Huxley only has the best future in the entire world.”

The Stauffers first announced they’d be giving up Huxley last month due to the child having “a lot of special needs that we weren’t aware of and that we were not told.”

They appeared in a tearful, since-deleted video posted on her YouTube page on Tuesday in which they announced that their “journey” with Huxley had come to an end.

That journey started in 2016 and helped them build — and monetize — a channel with more than 700,000 followers, many of whom were outraged by the announcement.

“I didn’t adopt a little boy to share these things publicly,” Myka Stauffer said in the new video, which has been watched more than 687,000 times to date.

It’s also one of more than two dozen videos about Huxley on her channel.

The couple said Huxley has been moved to a new “forever family” and alluded to “issues” and “special needs” that led to their decision. They refused to go into detail on those issues, citing the boy’s privacy.

Stauffer says she stopped featuring Huxley in her videos while the process took place, and she only shared an update on his status after it had been resolved.

“Do I feel like a failure as a mom? Like, 500 per cent,” she said.

Stauffer has spent the last three-plus years building a profile as a mommy blogger and media personality, but her experiences with Huxley helped catapult her to her current fame.

Brittany Banks and Yazan’s relationship just keeps getting crazier and crazier. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple has been going through trouble both on and off-screen. On-screen, they just had their first big blow up. In real life, Banks posted a picture on Instagram claiming that Yazan was a cheater. Now, Banks is backtracking on her past statements, saying that she wasn’t the one who made those claims at all.

Banks and Yazan come from two completely different cultures, which has made it hard for them to be on common ground. The two met by chance when Banks went to visit her sister who lives in the same apartment building as Yazan’s sister. Banks happened to walk in the room while Yazan and his sister were FaceTiming and the two met virtually. Four weeks later, Yazan sent Banks money to visit him. After a week in Jordan together, Banks and Yazan got engaged.

There are a few problems that are huge roadblocks for Yazan and Banks. The biggest one, perhaps, is that Banks is still married. Yazan’s family is expecting Banks to marry Yazan within days of arriving in Jordan but that is impossible because Banks’ divorce is expected to take up to 10 months.

In addition to that huge issue, Yazan wants Banks to convert to Islam but Banks has repeatedly told the cameras that she has no plans of converting.

Things came to a head for Banks and Yazan just minutes after she arrived in Jordan. When she greeted the production crew there, she hugged them and showed them some liquor that she had in her bag. Yazan got angry at her actions and lashed out.

“I’ve never seen him act like that and it was scary to me,” Banks told the cameras.” I’m not proud of his behavior at all. I’m actually very disappointed.”

To Yazan, Banks hugging the production team and bringing liquor was disrespectful.

“This is exactly what my parents warned me about,” he said. “Brittany either doesn’t understand or doesn’t care about the traditions or the country I live in.”

On June 24, Banks posted a photo of her and Yazan and wrote some pretty serious accusations about her fiancé in the caption.

“Fun facts about us,” she captioned the now-deleted picture. “Yazan’s favorite drink is Jack Daniels. Yazan loves hashish, tramadol, and gaslighting women. He also loves to cheat with ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans. He’s on his third one. His favorite pastime is blaming others for his actions. Enjoy @yazan_abuhurira did I miss anything? Should I honorably mention your out of control temper?”

She also posted a shady message on her Instagram story.

“Woke up in a f*ck you mood,” she wrote. “Tired of misogynists who think they can groom women. Ima kill all that on behalf of my ladies. F*ck misogynists. Women are queens.”

Later, she deleted the picture and posted a video of her looking glammed up with the caption, “I was hacked or whatever.”

TLC makes the cast of the show sign nondisclosure agreements before they appear on 90 Day Fiancé. While the details of the NDAs are not public, Banks’ post calling out Yazan almost certainly broke the agreement. So, Banks could have been hacked or she could just be claiming that that’s what happened in order to avoid the fallout of breaking an NDA with TLC.

Now, the star is facing allegations of bullying. According to Twitter users, Cardi is the likely culprit behind the profile @nobudgethoe on Instagram. The profile regularly posts less than flattering remarks about other females in the business, including Cardi’s arch-nemesis, Nicki Minaj. So, where’s the proof?

The since-deleted profile was followed by Cardi’s hairstylist Lil Kym, her sister Hennessy Carolina, and a few of the rapper’s personal friends. Looks a little suspicious, no?

For her part, the mother-of-one vehemently denies the allegations:

I’m like, ‘What the f**k…I didn’t even do anything, what I did? I guess they’re editing…or they’re claiming I have a fake Instagram, like I don’t know, these people must think I’m a 15-year-old girl.

It might just be the proof that we needed that the music maker loves the drama. Cardi B may have you believe that she’s just a woman trying to make her way in the game. But she hides a ruthless and calculating side.

The 27-year-old admitted herself that she was a member of the Bloods since the age of 16, while Tekashi69 named her as a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang when he landed in hot water himself.

So Cardi’s rap sheet is pretty long. Throwing a shoe at Nicki Minaj in 2018 was just the tip of the iceberg.

She admitted to her past mistakes as a stripper, telling publications that she used to drug and rob men. In June of last year, she pleaded not guilty to sending the order out to get two women beaten up who she believed were having an affair with her husband.

If she’s capable of this, is it unreasonable to think that she would set up a fake Instagram?

She wouldn’t be the first celebrity to take to the internet under a fake profile, and she probably won’t be the last either.

Will it be Cardi Bye, or will her Bardi Gang back her up, even though the evidence seems damning?

Molly and Tommy had welcomed the little Pomeranian puppy into their family just days before he sadly died. Tommy had gifted the pup to Molly for her 21st birthday.

Molly said in a statement: “Tommy and I are utterly heartbroken and shocked to even be writing this.

“Our beautiful new puppy Mr Chai was taken ill in the last few days and tragically has passed away.

“Chai became our whole world in the short time we had him and we couldn’t have taken any better care of him. We loved him so much and he brought us more happiness than we can describe.”

Several months back, Elton John and Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness came together for an episode of Instagram’s #Advocates series to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS and discuss the stigma still surrounding the disease. It’s now available for viewing in celebration of Pride Month.

During their chat, which took place earlier this year ahead of the annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, Elton applauded Van Ness for being open about his own HIV status.

“I wanted to be able to show up in my life and in the rooms that I find myself in and be able to speak to my experience,” Van Ness said. “And it’s interesting, part of why I was scared to talk about it, I was like, I didn’t want my whole career to be necessarily defined by it. That was what my fear was. Now I’m like, ‘Let’s define it. Yes, yes. I want to help.'”

Van Ness, who’s living a healthy life thanks to proper medication, credited Elton for being a major inspiration to him.

“Your ability to speak so honestly and transparently to what your experience has been has enabled me to be honest and it emboldens me to be courageous,” he said.

Elton said he wants to keep fighting for people’s rights until the day he dies, because he realizes he’s been so lucky in his own life.

“If I help people by being gay, if I help people with the AIDS Foundation, if I help people with my music or help people get sober and clean…that’s the least I can do,” Elton explained. “You just have to give back all the time.”

Model Jocelyn Chew delighted fans with a view of her insanely fit body for her latest Instagram update. For the post, she held a kitten while she posed in a tiny bikini that showcased her assets and toned midsection.

The 28-year-old had rejoiced about returning to sets for photo shoots and shared several behind-the-scenes clips recently, but for this snap she kept it simple. She was photographed outside, and although this did not seem to be part of a professional shoot she still looked stunning while getting to know her new furry friend.

Chew was captured from the thighs up as she stood in front of a wall with white siding, and next to a door with glass panels. The Canadian-born model had her brown hair pulled back in a loose bun at the top while the bottom was draped over her shoulders. She rested her right arm on her thigh and jutted out her hip to accentuate her figure. In her left arm she held an adorable striped kitten.

The model sported a copper-colored bikini that showcased her curves. Her small top hugged onto her chest and embellished her bust, while the bottom had thin straps that tied on the side. She wore several bracelets on her left arm, and a couple necklaces to complete the ensemble. Her complexion popped against the white backdrop, which made her defined stomach more prevalent. Chew added a caption about becoming an aunt to the feline and added paw print and a cat emoji.

Many of the model’s 543,000 Instagram followers quickly noticed the snap that was posted Wednesday, as more than 13,000 of them showed their appreciation by hitting the “like” button in just over three hours after it went live. She received over 120 comments in short order. Her replies were flooded with fire and heart-eye emoji. Models Daiane Sodre and Holly Madison both left fire emoji in the comment section. Fans and friends alike responded to Chew’s killer physique.

“Renaming you THE BODY in my phone,” popular Instagrammer Irish Sarah wrote.

“If gorgeous was a Ten you’re like a 15,” an admirer responded while adding two heart-eye emoji.
