Farrah Abraham Slammed for Telling Critics to ‘Stop Cyber Racism’

Abeni Tinubu

Farrah Abraham Instagram

Farrah Abraham is no stranger to receiving criticism on Instagram. It seems that she’s constantly being scrutinized for her lifestyle, parenting skills, polarizing behavior, and general appearance. Abraham is aware of the massive amounts of hate that she receives due to the fact that the overwhelming majority of activity on her social media pages is negative. Now, the 29-year-old is fighting back against negativity. Unfortunately, she’s doing so in a way that many people deem offensive.

On June 5, 2020, Abraham took to her Instagram page to post a video message about God. In her caption, she shared that she didn’t want “cyber racists” on her Instagram page. “UNFOLLOW ME – I DON’T WANT CYBER RACISTS, Those who discriminate, are racist, hate, hurt others criminally, wrongly fire people, abuse, spread crime & hurt people ON MY PAGE! ???, the Teen Mom alum began.

Farrah Abraham posts a controversial message on Instagram

Abraham then continued on to claim that she was always aiding in progress. “FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO CONTINUING [sic] LOVE, KINDNESS, LEARNING IN THEIR AUTHENTIC LIFE JOURNEYS AND HELP ALL LIVE THEIR BEST LIVES ❤️?? I’M ALWAYS HELPING PROGRESS THIS REGARDLESS OF SOCIAL MEDIA, TV OR PRESS AS YOU CAN SHOW THIS PRIVATELY AT HOME AND FOR YOUR COMMUNITY. THANK YOU TO ALL DURING THIS TIME & KNOW YOUR [sic] SEEN & YOUR [sic] HEARD, ? ” Abraham concluded in her Instagram post.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CBGqh5yB3MA/?utm_source=ig_embed

Of course, this post received tremendous backlash. Though Abraham has since-deleted a lot of negative comments, the general consensus was that the Teen Mom alum was making light of racism by likening it to cyberbullying. While cyberbullying can sometimes include racist remarks, Abraham herself does not receive them because she is a White woman. Furthermore, Abraham herself has been accused of racist behavior, so many people found her post hypocritical.

Instagram users slam the ‘Teen Mom’ alum

“Subtle PR stunt!!!! You should fire your ghostwriter!!! The same woman who has been racially/religiously discriminatory and has demonstrated racist behavior on NATIONAL TELEVISION…….. this was very well thought out, ????” one Instagram user declared, accusing Abraham of trying to save face for her past behaviors. Others resorted to simply name-calling the 29-year-old.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CA_07ULhhGw/?utm_source=ig_embed

Those who weren’t outraged by Abraham’s posts seemed to be genuinely confused. They wanted Abraham to define cyber racism since she seemed hell-bent on using the term in her recent Instagram posts and in her bio. “Please define ‘cyber racism,’” one person wrote. “What is cyber racism? And how many drugs are u on? Did Sophia kill the dog yet,” another critic questioned.

Is Abraham being polarizing on purpose?

“Girl what is cyber racism,” one person wrote on Abraham’s most recent Instagram post. “I’ve been trying to figure that out for days…maybe I should join her in a butt ton of cocaine so I can figure it out,” another person responded, accusing Abraham of taking illegal drugs. Clearly, Abraham using the term “cyber racism” was not helpful in her quest to stop people from criticizing her. However, we wouldn’ be surprised if the Teen Mom alum used the term just to elicit a strong response.

Tory Lanez & Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Trade Jabs Over Sample On Instagram

by Justin IveyTory Lanez & Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Trade Jabs Over Sample On InstagramJohnny Nunez/WireImage

Tory Lanez got into a social media spat with Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular over the sampling of the R&B group’s single “Your Body” on the former Interscope Record artist’s cut “Yessirr.” The back-and-forth began when Lanez joked about Akon’s recent collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine via Twitter on Sunday (June 7).

“So what y’all telling me is …. Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!??” he wrote. “And not me?!???? …… I’m going back to bed man.”

https://twitter.com/torylanez/status/1269734350616215553?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1269734350616215553&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fhiphopdx.com%2Fnews%2Fid.56270%2Ftitle.tory-lanez-pretty-rickys-spectacular-trade-jabs-over-sample-on-instagram

Lanez’s tweet didn’t sit well with Spectacular, who claimed the Canadian rapper/singer didn’t legally sample Pretty Ricky’s work for 2019’s Chixtape 5 project.

“@torylanez you should just stole it like you did Grind On Me and Your Body,” Spectacular commented on Instagram. “Why stop now ….. Just keeping it 2 Virgils.”

But Lanez fired back, “STOLE WHAT ??!? Actually I BOUGHT the rights from whoever signed u and publishes your music …. But I guess you weren’t apart of that conversation. go stare in someone eyes and rub on someone thighs and leave me outta this one …. goodnight my black brother.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CBKWpdphq1j/?utm_source=ig_embed

Spectacular then addressed Lanez by his government name and contested the multi-platinum selling artist’s side of the story.

“Look here Daystar,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “Now you know that’s [cap]. How you going to buy masters from someone other than the masters owner. What type of business you’re doing. I let you sample our RECORDS. You didn’t ask us, you put it out without our permission. And we still let it ride. I could have snatch your song down like you did mines.”

He continued, “After you did some bad business on a record that I paid you for 4 my single but hey I still love and support you. That’s what supporting each other is about black man.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CBKuSj9Afoc/?utm_source=ig_embed

Lanez responded to Spectacular’s allegations by providing receipts of his sample clearance to The Shade Room. The paperwork displayed an agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and detailed the percentage splits for “Yessirr.”

According to The Shade Room, Lanez said Pleasure P was in the studio when the song sampling “Your Body” was recorded. He also noted P and fellow Pretty Ricky members Slick’em and Baby Blue were originally supposed to be on the record.

Check out the second photo in the post below for a look at the paperwork.

Black Queer Instagram Accounts You Should Be Following

THIS MONTH AND ALWAYS.

Black Queer Instagram Accounts You Should Be Following

PHOTO: INSTAGRAM/@MUSEUMMAMMYBY NANDI HOWARD ·

If there is one thing we can learn from the queer community, it’s their resilience. While June is a month dedicated to celebrate members in LGBTQ+ movement, which includes Pride month parades across the world, this year is a little bit diffrent. From Covid-19 to police brutality, the past few months have been extremely challenging for minorities. So when you add the inclusion of a community who has historically been at a disadvantage, along with being black, the support towards movements that are not their own truly demonstrates their solidarity.

When it comes to being knowledgeable about LGBTQ+ issues, Instagram serves as a great tool to help you find queer activist who are always enlightening their audience about their community. From model Aaron Philip to activist Kimberly Drew to Hollywood producer Janet Mock, your timeline should incorporate these LGBTQ+ members. From to-die-for looks to community activism to cheeky dancing dancing videos, these are the queer instagram accounts you should already be following.

Tyler Cameron Has The Perfect Response To ‘All Lives Matter’ Instagram Comment

By AYNSLEE DARMON

EPA/NINA PROMMER/CPImages

Tyler Cameron is shutting down haters one Instagram comment at a time.

While sharing photos from his time at a Black Lives Matter protest to Instagram, the “Bachelorette” alum hit back at a troll arguing “all lives matter.”

Captioning a pic of himself and his best friend Matt James, Cameron wrote, “This is my brother Matt James and I will always stand with you. I never will know what you go through on a day to day basis… You have a way of carrying a smile and a contagious laugh that always makes it seem like everything is all good. I’ve seen something different these last couple of weeks.”

“I’ve seen a more serious you. I’ve seen conviction in your eyes to make change and I of course will always stand with you,” he continued. “I will stand with all of my brothers and sisters because this is not a country that is safe nor fair for all people. Black lives matter more than anything right now.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CBLORNdDsh-/?utm_source=ig_embed

But after the post was up for a few hours, Cameron noticed a comment from a follower who wrote, “All lives matter.”

And Cameron had the perfect response.

“No s**t Joanne but Black Lives Matter the most right now because they are the ones whose lives are the most at risk,” he wrote. “Here’s an example… I know you have no problem going for a walk in your neighbourhood and have no worries at all. That simple freedom isn’t the same for a person of colour.”

He added, “Here’s another example that might work for you… when people are killing elephants and they become an endangered species, people will say elephant lives matter. It doesn’t mean we don’t give a damn about all of the other animals. The ones endangered need our help the most right now.”

Cameron was one of many stars joining the protests over the weekend, Kendrick LamarUsher and Trey Songz were also showing their support for the movement.

YouTube or Instagram? The best place to launch a travel channel, and how to maximise your views and likes

Forget competing with all the other travel vloggers on YouTube, and start your video blogging journey on Instagram and IGTV instead. Photo: Getty Images

Starting an online travel video channel might sound like a daunting task, but if you have old travel clips on your phone, now is the ideal time to learn the basics for when international borders finally reopen.

The process can be as simple as you make it. Where you want your channel to go, and the amount of time and resources you want to spend on it, are things that will influence your approach, too.

Instagram’s video sharing platform, Instagram TV (IGTV), is a worthy launch pad for a travel channel thanks to its relative ease of use.

IGTV versus YouTube

YouTube (which is owned by Google), began life as a video hosting platform and is the second largest search engine behind Google. When you input a search query on Google, you also get YouTube results (as well as the option to search for video/photo results only).

YouTube receives 3 billion searches a month, which makes its search-engine optimisation value (the higher the value, the more traffic or hits you get) hard to beat. The site is saturated with travel vloggers, but it is still the best place to get your videos seen and to make money from them.

Instagram, owned by Facebook, is focused on photo and video sharing. It’s a mobile app that many of us scroll through – perhaps far too frequently – which makes it a platform with a huge but fleeting audience. This makes Instagram a great platform for short-form travel content, while YouTube is a better fit for in-depth material.

Of course, you can post the same content to both channels.

Selfie video camera the Idolcam is perfect for vloggers30 Apr 2020

The basics

It has been possible for some time now to post short videos – up to a minute in length – on your Instagram feed, and live content that stays up for 24 hours, but these clips tend to be flipped through quickly and without thought.POST MAGAZINE NEWSLETTERGet updates direct to your inboxSUBSCRIBEBy registering, you agree to our T&C and Privacy Policy

A minute can seem like an eternity if the content is not engaging from the get go, yet is too short a time for a video of any significance. This is where IGTV comes in.

IGTV allows users to publish videos longer than 60 seconds long. Photo: Getty Images

If you’re just starting out, you will first need to access the IGTV video page, which can be found through the search page on Instagram.

Uploading is fast and easy. Each clip must be more than a minute long, and if the video is uploaded from a mobile device, it must be less than 10 minutes long. Videos of up to an hour in length can be uploaded from a desktop computer.

There are no editing tools within the app, but captions and titles can be added to your videos. To tag other accounts, list them in the comments, where you should also add relevant hashtags.

You can post a short preview of your video to your main Instagram feed, which you should to do if you want to rack up the views.

Once you’ve posted for the first time, an IGTV icon will appear on your Instagram homepage (next to the tab for photos you’ve been tagged in) for easier access.

You can create video series, and you can post or send IGTV links to other platforms – including to Facebook. Your creations can also be embedded on a website or blog post, although this is only possible from a computer.

If you’re already a popular Instagramer, you’ll have a ready-made audience on the app, which might make it more appealing than YouTube. Photo: Getty Images

Formats and further sharing

Although Instagram is best used when your phone is in portrait (or vertical) mode, IGTV allows you to view video content in landscape, which is something few viewers bother to do for short videos.

IGTV videos are much smaller when viewed on a regular feed in portrait, but they are still watchable and are not trimmed at the sides, which means viewers watching on the fly still get to see everything with minimal effort.

How to use Instagram’s new IGTV app3 Jul 2018

Many editing apps and desktop software packages allow for video export in either portrait or landscape mode. If a video has been shot in landscape, you can crop it for better viewing in portrait mode while editing. This allows you to export the same video to both IGTV (portrait) and YouTube (landscape). If you have an omnidirectional (360-degree) camera, you can choose formats and reframe a video from within the camera’s native app, making the editing process fast and easy.

Shooting in portrait mode works well for walk-arounds and single-clip videos of markets or temples, for example, and you can shoot, edit and post within minutes. This immediacy is where IGTV really comes into its own.

The platform has its limitations, and the inability to directly monetise videos on Instagram may have kept established travel vloggers at bay. However, a monetisation scheme is being introduced, which may draw them away from YouTube, and Instagram is less cluttered and more accessible. If you’re already a popular Instagramer, you’ll have a ready-made audience, too. Its video potential is huge.

Chloe Saxon Looks ‘Vacay Ready’ In A Mismatched Bikini & Sheer White Pants On Instagram

Amanda Lynne

Chloe Saxon snaps a sizzling selfie.

Chloe Saxon piqued the attention of her followers while wearing a scanty little ensemble in her most recent Instagram update on Monday afternoon. The model showed off her hourglass figure while revealing that she was getting ready for her vacation.

In the sexy snaps, Chloe looked smoking hot as she rocked a silver glitter bikini top. The garment boasted thin spaghetti straps that flashed her muscular arms and shoulders. The low cut also flashed her massive cleavage.

She paired the top with some white thong bikini bottoms. The swimwear clung to her curvy hips tightly while accentuating her round booty.

She also wore a pair of sheer white pants over top that featured ruffles on the sides and fit snugly around her tiny waist. Chloe’s flat tummy and impressive abs were also on full display. She accessorized the style with a chain around her neck and gold hoop earrings.

In the first photo, Chloe stood in front of a mirror with her hands behind her back. She pushed her hip to the side and wore a sultry expression on her face. In the second shot, she placed a hand behind her head and stared into the camera. The final pic was similar, but featured her with her head tilted to the side.

Chloe wore her dark hair pulled back into a ponytail behind her head. The long locks were styled in straight strands that tumbled down her back. She also rocked fringe bangs the fell across her forehead.

She opted for a bombshell makeup look in the shots. The application appeared to consist of mascara-covered lashes and dramatic black winged eyeliner, as well as bold eye shadow and darkened brows.

She looked to give her face a warm glow using pink blush on her cheekbones and a shimmering highlighter on her nose, chin, and under eyes. She seemed to complete the glam look with dark lipstick on her full pout.

Chloe’s 748,000-plus followers wasted no time showing the post some love by clicking the like button more than 2,300 times with in the first 15 minutes after it was shared to her feed. Fans also hit up the comments section to leave over 75 messages during that time.

“That’s fire girl,” one follower declared.

“Killer,” another wrote.

“So hot,” a third comment read.

“Stunning,” a fourth social media user gushed.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Chloe most recently delighted her loyal fans when she posed in a neon pink bikini with clear straps. To date, that post has pulled in more than 17,000 likes and over 340 comments.
