Instagram model Raquel Benetti shook her backside in her latest video upload. She was joined by two friends on a soccer field and they performed a choreographed dance that ended with the trio shaking their booties in unison.
The 29-year-old is renowned for her skills with a soccer ball, and similar to several posts this week, she was filmed on a soccer field for her newest clip. Benetti was joined by two friends, Naty Potira and Camila Boas, to perform a synchronized TikTok-style dance routine. Their location was tagged at the Ponte Preta soccer school in Benetti’s hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The three women stood on a field with what appeared to be fake grass and had a soccer net directly behind them. Potira was in the front while Benetti and Boas were behind her. Benetti – who has been dubbed “The Muse of the Freestylers” – rocked a lime-green sports bra and a white athletic skirt with a black waistband. Potira wore a pink Nike sports bra with tight black shorts, while Boas had on a floral-print sports bra and a turquoise skirt.
At the beginning of the video, the three women bent over and pointed directly at the lens. Then they pumped their left arms together and performed a sideways wave motion. Each maneuver was performed with only the left arm, and the trio tapped their own shoulders before turning their bodies to the side. The dancers put their hands on their thighs and stuck their backsides out and shook them along to the music. As per Google Translator, Benetti’s caption mentioned partying because it’s Friday, and she included a party favor and soccer ball emoji along with tagging her two friends.
Many of her 1.2 million Instagram followers flocked to the vid, and over 25,000 of them showed their approval by slapping the “like” button in just over four hours after it went live. Benetti received over 130 comments in that short time. Her replies were littered with heart and fire emoji. Several fans praised the dancing trio as they found the routine slightly comical and sexy.
“Funny, cool,” a fan wrote along with a series of emoji.
As covered by The Inquisitr, Benetti flaunted her fit figure in a photo taken on a different soccer field earlier this week. She knelt on the grass wearing a tight white top that was open in the middle to expose her cleavage, plus a small pair of pink athletic shorts and matching shoes. That post garnered more than 33,000 likes and nearly 200 comments.
French fashion legend Carine Roitfeld issued a public apology on Wednesday, after an Instagram post of her with black model Anok Yai was slammed as “tone-deaf,” “deeply offensive” and “self-serving.”
Earlier this week, as millions of social media users showed their support for the Black Lives Matter movement in the wake of George Floyd’s death, the 65-year-old CR Fashion Book founder shared a photo of herself embracing the South Sudanese beauty.
Roitfeld captioned the image, “Miss you,” later adding a comment that read, “Anok is not a black woman, she is my friend.”
The post was later deleted, but not before Diet Prada shared it — along with a handful of comments from horrified Instagram users.
“Before the murder of George Floyd you never posted a black woman before,” one read. “Do not use her skin to make you feel better about the casual everyday racism you participate in. This is DEEPLY offensive.”
“She is most definitely A BLACK WOMAN and the fact you think you have to erase her race to make this point is part of the problem,” another captured comment read.
Others shared their thoughts in the comments of Diet Prada’s post. “Lol she could’ve used her major platform of 1.7 mil followers to make some impact but instead she resorts to tokenism and using her as a prop :-/,” one wrote. “SO tone deaf, it’s embarrassing,” another added.
Roitfeld posted a lengthy apology Wednesday night. “I would like to sincerely apologize for my previous comments that were posted on social media,” it began. “My intent was to express love and support for my dear friend, Anok Yai – not to deafen my message. I realize that I caused further pain and hurt to the very community that I was looking to support.”
Continued the editor’s message, “I am learning from this experience and will continue to use my platform and voice to create opportunities for change. Anok you are a beautiful, strong and talented Black woman and I meant absolutely no harm. I only meant to send a message of support to you and your family.”
Calling her earlier post “a grave error,” Roitfeld concluded, “I vow to continue to focus my efforts and stand up to these injustices to support and further create opportunities that amplify the black community and their voices in the fight against systemic racism.”
Representatives for both Roitfeld and Next Models, Yai’s agency, did not immediately respond to Page Six Style’s request for comment.
NEW ORLEANS, La. (WVUE/Gray News) – New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has taken to social media to apologize for comments he made regarding protests of the National Anthem.
In an interview Wednesday, Drew Brees stated, “I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country.”
His comments were immediately met with backlash by many of his own teammates and other athletes. Several Saints players, including Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara unfollowed Brees on social media.
Safety Malcolm Jenkins also posted a video to Instagram Wednesday sharing a message to Brees saying, “I considered you a friend, I looked up to you, you’re someone I had a great deal of respect for, but sometimes you should shut the (expletive) up.”
Brees posted his apology on his Instagram page saying, “I would like to apologize to my friends, teammates, the City of New Orleans, the black community, NFL community and anyone I hurt with my comments yesterday. In speaking with some of you, it breaks my heart to know the pain I have caused.”
His statement goes on to say,
“This is where I stand:
I stand with the black community in the fight against systemic racial injustice and police brutality and support the creation of real policy change that will make a difference.”
There have been many protests around the country following the death of George Floyd while being arrested by Minneapolis Police. The four officers involved in the incident have since been arrested and charged in his death.

In this historic moment that has caused many to realize that perhaps the message from Colin Kaepernick should have been heeded, his efforts are receiving even more support.
Via CNBC.com, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has given $3 million to Colin Kaepernick’s “Know Your Rights” camp.
The donation will “advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization to elevate the next generation of change leaders,” Dorsey said.
Twitter has become an important tool for sharing ideas and videos and other information relevant to world events. Twitter also has become, in many instances, a cesspool of hostility and hatred and ugliness, with people attacking each other based on their opinions and viewpoints. In many respects, we are better for having access to Twitter. In many respects, we are worse.
Regardless, it’s good to see that the person who runs the platform is willing to contribute to efforts at effecting change. We can only hope that change eventually will come to Twitter, in the hopes of focusing on enhancing what makes it good and limiting what makes it not.

Justin Bieber isn’t afraid to voice his views on social media.
The singer hit back at one Donald Trump supporter on Instagram this week after they responded to his post about voting in the primary elections.
Bieber admitted he couldn’t vote himself because he’s Canadian but a lot of his fans could.
The follower in question replied, “Yep! Trump 2020! I’m appalled at you Justin! You are a Christian first and foremost. Peace can only come from God… Stop using your platform to further perpetuate blacks voting for Democrats! You don’t get it! You should go to your bible and look at what God says about peace!”
Bieber fired back:
The social media user then responded on Twitter, which didn’t go down well with the majority of Bieber’s fans.
The musician’s comment comes after he and wife Hailey spoke about George Floyd’s death and the protests that stemmed from it.
“I’ve been feeling shame in the sense of like, Why did it take these men being killed for me to almost take a blanket over my eyes. Why now? I do feel bad when

Dwayne Johnson posted a passionate video on Twitter, showing support for Black Lives Matter and appearing to question President Trump’s lack of leadership during nationwide protests against George Floyd’s death.
“Where are you? Where is our leader?” Johnson, a Bethlehem Freedom High School graduate, starts out by asking. “Where is our leader at this time when our country is down on its knees, begging, pleading, hurt, angry, frustrated, in pain with its arms out, just wanting to be heard?”
The actor repeatedly asks, “Where are you?” throughout the video, which lasts eight minutes and 25 seconds. Floyd died on May 25 after a Minneapolis police officer, who has since been charged with second-degree murder, held his knee on Floyd’s neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.
“Where is our compassionate leader who’s going to step up to our country who’s down on its knees, and extend a hand and say, ‘You stand up, stand up with me because I got you. I hear you, I’m listening to you. And you have my word that I’m going to do everything in my power, until my dying day, my last breath, to do everything I can to create the change that is needed, to normalize equality because Black lives matter.’ Where are you?” Johnson says.
Though Johnson doesn’t refer to Trump by name, it’s clear he is speaking about the American president. The monologue is one of the strongest political stances he has openly taken during his career.
The actor also calls out the “All Lives Matter” movement, saying that right now, Black lives need support.
“Of course, all lives matter, but in this moment right now, this defining, pivotal, explosive moment where our country is down on its knees…we must say the words: Black lives matter,” he says.
Trump’s comments and tweets about protesters and suggesting violence against looters have been widely criticized by other celebrities and politicians.
“We must become the leaders we are looking for. I’ll ask it one more time: Where are you? Where is that compassionate leader who steps up and takes accountability for his country and all the people in our country?” Johnson says. “Where are you? I’ll tell you what, we’re here. We’re all here. The process to change has already begun. You can feel it across our country. Change is happening. It’s going to take time. We’re going to get beat up. We’re going to take our lumps. There’s going to be blood, but the process of change has already begun.”
Johnson has previously taken in interest in politics himself. In 2017, the A-lister told Variety he would “100% consider” running for office. On Wednesday evening, some fans commented on Johnson’s video post that he should run for president; others expressed disappointment with him getting political.
“I’m well aware politics is not the business I’m in, so the best thing I can do is continuing to listen and learn as much as I can,” Johnson told Variety in late 2017, when asked about his political ambitions. “I’m continuing to watch our presidency and watch how every new development is handled. I continue to watch our leaders in government, and like all Americans, I continue to be hopeful that our leaders exhibit poise, perspective and the ability to bring our country together during these tough times — which I don’t feel our presidency is currently doing — so that’s where I’m at.”
This week, to support Blackout Tuesday, Johnson posted an image of a black square on his Instagram account, like many people around the world did to show solidarity with protesters. He posted messages from his production company, Seven Bucks Productions, and his Teremana Tequila business.
“We have a deep accountability to our Black community, and we demand equality,” he wrote.
Johnson also posted a photo last week with a quote from Floyd, “I can’t breathe,” along with a lengthy caption with his thoughts on the tragedy.
“Where’s the greater accountability? The leadership to healing. More importantly, the leadership to EQUALITY. We ultimately win when we can normalize equality,” he wrote. “I’m so sorry to the Floyd family. My heart breaks for you.”
From Johnson’s Instagram post:
Past few days I’ve been stunned trying to make sense of George Floyd’s death. The video. The plea for breath. The callous response. The racism. The killing. This is our ongoing disease. I’ve had cops in my family. Good men. And there’s a cop code, granting you the authority to use force if your life is in danger. But when a man is handcuffed, on the ground, no longer a threat, with your brothers in arms standing around watching and he struggles to say, “please I can’t breathe” when your knee is on his neck.. not his back, but his neck – cutting off his air. Cop code must become moral code. Ethics code. HUMANITY code. Knowing that if you don’t ease up, then that man is going to die. So when you decide to not ease up, your intention is to kill. And that’s what this was. George Floyd, said “officer I can’t breathe” as he struggled for air. He said these words a total of 15 times. Not once. Not twice. 15 times. These officers will be charged, I’m positive of that. Held accountable. But then where’s the greater accountability? The leadership to healing. More importantly, the leadership to EQUALITY. We ultimately win when we can normalize equality. I’m so sorry to the Floyd family. My heart breaks for you. Let the process begin now. #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd #NormalizeEquality
